Pro Am

Yep, home from Pro Am! Finally got pictures loaded yesterday. Apparently, something's not right in the path between my card, through my card reader and into my laptop. The laptop saw there was a card there, but never would pull up pictures. I was forced to install the software for the camera and load them that way. I HATE doing that! More software I don't need, and it's so much harder and more annoying to do than just popping the card into a reader. But either way, they're loaded and I edited down 40 something pics. Not bad result from over 1,000 taken! Not portfolio quality necessarily, since I had to jack up my ISO to 1600 and play with the white balance to get them even somewhat exposed properly. I could only get my SS to about 125 or 160 before they got too dark, so they're not as crisp as I want, but overall, they're decent.
