Macro betta shots

Ok, long time no post. My mind wanders alot and I forget to come here and post. I'm working on leash training the little thing, but it's slow going.


Ahem..

I got a couple nice macro betta shots yesterday. I took in a new fish from a coworker and he's so beautiful (the fish that is) that I had to break out the biggest macro filter. I was just kind of hurried since I needed to pack for my upcoming trip, but these two shots are really pretty good.

This first one is as he was coming up to take a breath. I kind of like the shadows that got in the way, makes for a nice artsy look.

This next one is just as he was hanging around. Not as sharp as the first one, but still gives a great view of his scales.

I definitely need to work more with these filters, they are fun!
